Andy and his cars

Andy still LOVES his cars.  We actually use his cars as leverage.  If he is acting up, we will threaten not being able to play with his cars, and he usually will behave.  In these last few weeks of pregnancy, I have been needing to lay down in the afternoons as my body is pretty tired.  Andy will quietly play with his cars for hours in the afternoon, which has been such a gift for me.  Gamma gave Andy this ferry boat, which he loves.  He likes to line the cars up in a ferry line and then take them across to Whidbey.  He was especially proud of this LONG ferry line and wanted me to document it.

 

Andy also needs a nap every couple of days to recharge.  He doesn't really like naps, but prefers to sleep with his cars (I know, he's a little obsessed).  In the second picture, he had set up a bed downstairs so he could nap with his cars.  Although the basement becomes a disaster zone after his "quiet time," it's worth-it!
