Sun Valley Weekend

We just arrived home from a fun wedding weekend in Sun Valley. Cameron Leady and Annie Stout got married at Trail Creek - and it was a weekend full of celebrating! Andy had a blast - as did Kyle and I : ) We enjoyed a great rehearsal dinner at Galena on Thursday, Andy's first bike ride on Saturday - and a cocktail party at the Brown's on Friday. Saturday - we walked around town and went to our favorite spots - Java, Lefty's, Grumpy's, Silver Creek...to name a few. The wedding on Saturday was beautiful - and we had a great time with Ka and Bapa! We enjoyed catching up with old friends and celebrating the new couple.

Crawling and Golf...

So - it's official. As of today, Andy is crawling...forward. We have entered a new phase. We are in Sun Valley enjoying a great wedding weekend with friends. Last night, we were at the Brown home (AMAZING!) and they are right on the golf course. Kyle took Andy out on the green and was saying "golf", "golf", "golf". Well...Andy responded! Andy's first word is GOLF - well, "goff". He has been saying it this morning - pretty fun. Back to vacation!

I am sure this is what Andy has been thinking this past week. Based on his purple gums, non-stop drool, lack of sleep, crankiness, and not letting anyone go near his mouth - I can only imagine that Andy has just wanted his teeth to come through his swollen gums. Well...they have arrived after his nap this afternoon! Hooray! Andy's new favorite motion is clicking his top and bottom teeth together - it's so fun to see him figure it out : )

Fathers' Day

We celebrated Kyle's first official Fathers' Day up on Whidbey. The Campbell Clan was up there as well - and we celebrated with my dad and GP (Connie and Alden were on their way to Hawaii - lucky!).

Dad - thank you for being such a constant in my life. You have been a mentor, supporter, and friend - and I love all of the memories we have together. It is so fun to see you in your role as Bapa - Andy is so lucky to have you!

Alden - thank you for loving Andy so much. We are blessed to have you living so close and always willing to drop anything to help out. I know regardless of how many times Andy spits up on you or poops on you...you always will see him as "perfect".

Kyle is such a good dad in so many ways. He lights up my world by the way he is with Andy - and the way Andy beams when Kyle walks in the room. We truly are a team, and he is such a hands-on dad. I never could have imagined that being parents would be so rewarding, but I didn't even know to expect how much more I would fall in love with Kyle seeing him in his role as a father. Thanks Kyle - for being my partner and such a good daddy!

Baby Rose Bud

The A-Team (Alison, Allison, and Annie) hosted a baby shower for Kristin and baby Tyler. We had so much fun planning - and even more fun at the shower! Andy can't wait to meet his buddy Ty - they are going to be best buds! Here are a few pics from the shower - hooray KP and Max!

Wedding in Chelan

This weekend we went to Chelan for my good friend Emily's and Tyler's wedding. Emily and I met when we were 6 years old, playing on the Kickers, Bellevue Boys and Girls club soccer league. We have been friends ever since - going to middle school, high school, and college together. It was a fun weekend get-away, and a good time with good friends. Congrats Emily and Tyler!
