And, of course, we spent some time in the bath tub! Andy LOVES taking baths, which is why I think he loves the pool & hot tub - it's like a big bath : )

Since I couldn't actually get in the hot tub, I ended up taking a lot of pictures. Andy loved the bubbles and just warming up and hanging out with his dad.

Palm Desert - Friends at the Pool

We are very lucky that my parents have a house just two doors down from the Wises and Bushnells. It is so much fun going down to Palm Desert and having such close friends down there too. Almost every day we met our friends at the pool. It was fun to play with other kids and have some adult time too! Here are a few pictures of our friends.

Palm Desert - Pool Time!

The warmer weather was a very nice change from rainy, cold Seattle. Although most of the days were in the high 60's to low 70's - cool in Palm Desert terms, we took full advantage. We usually started off the day with a walk and then headed to the big pool. Andy had a blast swimming and was so much fun to watch. Most of the time we headed to the hot tub after pool time to warm up.

Andy jumps from a standing position into the pool now, and still enjoys getting in from a sitting position. He "swims" under-water for about 5 feet and loves being thrown into the air. I don't know who enjoys it more - Andy - or Kyle and me : )

Palm Desert - Ka & Bapa

We spent most of the evenings playing with Andy - and being entertained by Andy. He especially was fond of the stuffed ducky. We were in tears watching Ka play with the duck, Andy tackling the duck, and Andy responding to Bapa's duck calls. These pictures were on December 27th - the first time Andy said "Bapa".

Palm Desert - Great Grandparents

During our stay in Palm Desert this December, we were able to spend a couple of nights with GP and Grandma Jane. Since they spend the winters in Palm Desert - we don't get to see them as much - so it was a treat to spend time with them. Now that Andy is walking - he doesn't like to sit still - so here are a few pictures with GP and Grandma Jane:

Christmas #6 - Campbell Extended Family: Before Dinner

Bruce and Galen hosted the craziness of Christmas dinner with 9 little ones with grace. They had treat bags, movies, and the best food! We had a great time and I was laughing almost the whole night. The Christmas spirit definitely was alive with this group! It was a great way to end Christmas!

It was pretty cute, Nick and Andy were sharing food all night. Well, they were stealing food off each other's trays - but it was fun to see them interact with each other.

Christmas #6 - Campbell Extended Family: After Dinner

After dinner, we moved to the living room to open presents...and the real fun began : )

SANTA made his entrance! All of the kids were VERY excited! Well, Andy was busy trying to put my crown back on, but it was very entertaining to watch all of the kids Jake beaming on Santa's lap Masin - SO excited Robbie - not so sure Andy - definitely not a happy camper! Same goes for Nick Callie checking out Santa All the kiddos with Santa - Maggie giving an extra tight squeeze Playing with the toys! Performance time...Maggie sang THREE song and did great! Masin sang three times, but all three times she sang Jingle Bells. She was great as well - especially her bows! Andy getting sleepy. He never sucks his thumb, but decided he should try tonight.
