We started our full beach day with a big breakfast. Then we played in the waves, Kyle and I took turns paddle boarding, Kyle took Andy kayaking, and we went boogey boarding. All 3 kids were covered with sand from head to toe! Abi had fun just sitting and discovering. We ended the day with our first dinner out.

HAWAII - Shaw Intro Dinner
Our 1st official Shaw night was a big dinner next to the beach. The food was amazing and they even had lower buffet tables for the kids filled with chicken strips, fries, hot dogs, mac n cheese, oreos, chocolate chip cookies...the kids were in heaven!
Katie spent much of her time in Hawaii "collecting". After dinner this night, she collected about 50 leaves and flowers. She wanted to take them back to our room. Instead, we compromised by saying we would take a picture of her hard work. So proud.
HAWAII - 1st Few Days
Our daily routine was to start at the beach and end up at the pool or vice versa. Drinks early-afternoon and naps late afternoon. The first few nights we ordered food in as we didn't feel like getting dressed up and heading out to dinner. It was the best way to get in vacation mode.
I love Abi's excitement on our 1st day. It was exactly my emotion! Yay Hawaii.
HAWAII - ARRIVAL
We had the most amazing trip to Hawaii. Kyle and I felt like we were living a dream as it was something we had hoped to do with our family since we've been married. Our time exceeded our expectations. On the flight over and home, we had an extra seat for Abi (free), which made the arrival and re-entry that much better. The kids were super flexible and Abi napped on the beach, next to the pool, and allowed us to not have to be on a strict schedule. We played hard! Even though it was a "work" trip for Kyle, we were able to spend a lot of time as a family and enjoy the benefits of a paid vacation (free lodging, free drinks, free meals), and we enjoyed an amazing time in the pool and at the beach. We took most of our picture with our phones - we were having too much fun to stop and take photos.
