We had a lot of festivities leading up to Halloween. Katie was set to be a zebra, but her major blowout up the back (yes, at almost 2 1/2) made us thankful for our back-up costume, the elephant. We made a quick trip up the hill, but many stores had run out of candy - even Starbucks! So we did a trip around the block with Andy and Katie. They loved it, but I am not so sure the neighbors quite knew what to do with them as Andy and Katie walked right into each person's home as if they were invited guests. The highlight again this year was opening the door for other trick-or-treators. We got about 20 - which isn't bad. I would have had a ton of leftover candy if it wasn't for the 10 year old boys who literally cleaned my supply at the end. Probably a good thing for this 37 week pregnant lady. Especially since my doctor told me (not so subtly) to take it easy on the Halloween candy.
Katie still was upset that she couldn't be a zebra
Andy clearly was excited to be Captain America (after some research on the ipad, he decided Captain America was a cool character to be for Halloween)
A little coaxing from daddy helped Katie put her hood on (and mommy pretending to cry behind the camera)
37 weeks and ready to pop!!!
