Whidbey - Sandy Hook Fun Day

We had a great time at the annual Sandy Hook Fun Day this year.  We even sported "Campbell Clan" shirts from 30 years ago.  Maggie was the biggest player - she was fierce and loved each of the games.  Katie was a trooper as Fun Day was the kick-start to her (and my) 10 day cold.  Bapa was the Master of Games - a role he knows well.  He did great!  Team Red (our team) tied for 1st.  The pool games were a hit - with Maggie participating and giving the older boys a run for their money.  Kyle even participated in the races.  At the end of the day, we played at the point and participated in the potluck and pinata games.  Mum, Bruce and Galen, the Warmes, the Graebners, and Ka and Bapa represented the Campbell Clan and we had a blast!

Heading to the parade
Andy got a new scooter for his birthday.  At first, he wanted to "walk" his scooter like a dog instead of ride it.  Our pokey puppy pulled up the rear of the parade.
I love Masin's expression in this photo.  She is so proud/embarassed.
The Ault/Bede vehicle - so cute!

Mags sporting her Campbell Clan - "Betsy" shirt.  Katie's said "Annie" on the back.
Master of Games in Action
Katie wanting to participate in Simon Says...such a big girl!  Maggie tied for 1st place.  Gooooo team Red!
Game face on
Ready for the gunny sack races (this is as far as he got...wasn't really sure how to hop in a gunny sack).  Maybe next year.  He sure looks cute, though.
Blue ribbons for team Red
Andy and Katie (buddies for the weekend) cheering on their team in the pool
Go Mags!
Andy cheering on Kyle as he swam in the adult race
Bruce and Bapa in the dingy race (our family struggled with this one)
Cheering on Daddy
Since Andy and Katie were too little to participate in the official pool games, we did our own swimming later in the day.  These two loved pool time!

 Until Next Year!
