The end of Andy's 6th Birthday Celebration!

For Andy's 6th birthday, the Warmes gave him a night out at Red Robin and a trip to the movies.  What a treat!  Andy has been talking about his movie date since his birthday.  This movie date signified the "end" of his birthday celebration.  So...we have officially been celebrating for 2 weeks.  Lucky dude : )  Andy never had been sung the Red Robin happy birthday song before - at first he was surprised, then embarrassed, and then pumped.  The movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, was a little scary, but a fun memory for Miller, Andy, Bets and me.  We celebrated our boys who will be starting Kindergarten in ONE WEEK!

BIG WHITE

We had such a special trip as a whole family to Big White.  It was a dream come true to see Andy and Katie on the slopes and to take them on the "big chair" at the end of the week.  We had a great time with the Warmes, Lentz's and Ka and Bapa.  It's a lot of work to get 3 kids ready for the snow (and 2 in ski gear), but it was worth-it and confirmed the importance and joy for us to be a skiing family.  There's not much else that beats time in the mountains as a family.

Andy Valentine's Day Class Party

Andy's class had a Valentine's Day party, where they did a singing performance and invited parents and siblings for snacks and Valentine Card opening.  Katie was sporting a black eye, but Andy was very excited in his heart-hat and to have his whole family there.  Katie enjoyed being one of the older kids and enjoying her first gumball.  We came home with two sugar-high kiddos!
