Christmas Morning

The kids slept in until about 8:30.  We had breakfast and then opened presents (Abi didn't wake up until around 9:30).  The highlights were the princess Sophia dress and paraphernalia for Katie and the hexbug track for Andy.  Abi just enjoyed crawling around in the paper.

At first, Katie was not thrilled to take pictures.  Glad I captured her happy self : )

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve morning with Gamma and Gumpa at our house.  We enjoyed cinnamon rolls, brunch, and opening presents.  For dinner, we headed over to the Ketterings for soup and games.  We headed home to get cookies and carrots out for Santa and then off to bed!

Campbell Christmas

Again, I didn't take any pictures, but we went to the Warmes on the 23rd to celebrate on the Campbell side.  Ka and Bapa got the kids gifts, but otherwise we just hung out and chatted.  It was nice to get all of the cousins together and spend some adult time together as well.  Thanks Bets for the yummy meal!

Annual Girls Night Out

I didn't take any pictures, but wanted to remember the fun night we had this year with my sisters and mom.  We went to Stoneburner in Ballard and enjoyed a yummy dinner out.  Each person brought their "favorite thing" for the year - Betsy brought a Starbucks portable cup and gift card, Mollie brought heart necklaces that are made to support the Ben Towne Foundation, and mom brought cheesecloth white kitchen towels.  I love our annual tradition!

Snow Day!

We had our first (and maybe only) Snow Day this year.  Everyone in Seattle was anticipating this day as it was all over the news.  We got about 2 inches of snow, and we all were excited.  Katie's school was cancelled, which she was bummed about because it was her Christmas Singalong performance.  Andy's school was two hours late, and he was relieved because he didn't want to miss Pajama Day and teacher Katie's last day.  We made a snowman before Andy headed to class.  It was cold, but a fun change of pace for the last day of school before break.  Andy's teacher Katie wrote the sweetest not about Andy.  Made me proud of our little guy.

Fieldtrip to Swansons

Andy's class went on a field trip to Swanson's Nursery where they visited the reindeer.  When I picked him up from school, he was wearing his own reindeer hat. 

Katie's Dance Performance

Katie's class performed a small version of the Nutcracker.  By small I mean they wiggled around to the music.  Katie LOVES dance class and Miss Lynn is great with the girls.  Katie's buddy Edie's dad brought her a dozen roses and Edie decided to share one with Katie.
