5 months!

Andy will be 6 months in 2 weeks - but I never posted for 5 months : ) He is a happy little guy and is very fascinated with his hands and now his toes. He can fit his whole fist in his mouth! He is sleeping through the night - thank goodness, and is on a pretty regular nap and feeding schedule. He enjoys his squash for dinner and loves his bouncy bounce chair. His cries are much more distinct...I am hungry, I am tired, I want to be held. So we have a little communication system going on. I finally feel like I have a little bit of independence...to be able to work out, read a magazine, update my blog : ) Life is good.

Happy 60th Birthday Ka!

Last night we celebrated Ka's 60th birthday and Bapa's 61st birthday at Canlis. Thanks to our in-laws, we were able to enjoy a dinner out without our kids and actually hold conversations for more than 30 seconds : ) It was such a treat to be at Canlis - and so fun to celebrate. Thanks for giving us a reason to celebrate Mom and Dad!

PALM DESERT!

We left for Palm Desert on December 26th. The plan was to come home on January 4th, but with the lovely Seattle weather, we waved goodbye to my Dad and Kyle, and my mom, Andy, and I stayed until the 9th. We had a blast relaxing, golfing, swimming, playing dominoes, making dinners, walking, biking...to name a few. I think Andy grew over the 2 weeks we were down there - the Vitamin D did wonders for us all : )

Campbell Extended Family

For the Campbell extended family Christmas, we celebrate on Christmas Day night. This year Andy was the only little kid in attendance, as Kyle and I represented our generation. We enjoyed a peaceful dinner at Susie's and Bill's, and Andy even slept after being infatuated by the very cool Gravrock train. We were sad that Papa couldn't join us, but Andy enjoyed being the only "great-grandchild".

Andy's 1st Christmas Morning

Kyle's, Henry's, and now Andy's Christmas tradition is to open stockings and gifts on Christmas morning. It's our time to be with just our family - relaxed in our PJs. We also take down all of our Christmas decorations during the day, so it's the last moments enjoying the tree, stockings, and the spirit of Christmas. This year, Maggie baked cookies for us to give to Santa. Looks like Santa enjoyed them : )
