Happy Birthday Car!

Auntie Car and Uncle Allen came over for dinner and brought yummy Shepherd's Pie. We celebrated an early birthday for Car, and they took turns feeding, changing, and holding Andy. Thanks for loving our little boy!

First visit to the Science Center

On a rainy day like today, the Science Center is a perfect place to be! There were so many things to see and touch. We even saw a show on combustion!

As you can see, Andy was fully engaged...

Maggie was in heaven!! Andy will learn the ropes from big cousin Maggie, the science buff.

Happy Birthday Henry!

Henry turned 3 years old on the 23rd! He will always be our first "baby", and Andy was celebrating with him yesterday.

We love Bapa!

Welcome Home Joe!

Joe Pinkham is home for two weeks before heading back to continue his service in the Armed Forces over seas. We were lucky to celebrate his homecoming with family and to give him a big hug.

We also were able to meet baby Cruz for the first time and introduce Andy to family!

Buddies

Nick and Andy - only 2 1/2 weeks apart were "hanging out" together. Mommy and Auntie Mollie were "bosom buddies" over the weekend as we felt we were feeding ALL the time! Andy is excited to have Nickers as his buddy growing up!

Maggie...

Maggie is Andy's cousin, and she is a HOOT! We had fun on Monday and captured some priceless Maggie faces : )

First, we were walking in "crabby town", which means we were combing the beach for dead crabs. She LOVES this and often spends time doing this with her mommy.

Maggie standing proud next to her "castle"Then, we went inside, and Maggie decided she wanted to see her "silly faces" on my camera. We both were laughing!

First, Maggie wasn't excited about the camera...

Then she was practicing for her pre-school pictures...

Then - she wanted to be SILLY

Sunny September

We were lucky to be able to be by the water during this sunny weather. Andy went on a walk, went swinging, and watched his cousins play!

Andy getting Vitamin D...don't worry, he wasn't in the sun too long : )

Life is good...well, at least the weather is!

Whidbey Weekend!

We spent the sunny weekend up on Whidbey and enjoyed the beautiful weather! Andy enjoyed time with his mommy and daddy and cousins. It is so fun to see little Nick and Andy together as we know they will be buddies as they grow up.

The Lentz Family was up on Whidbey on Sunday...and Callie was such a great big sister/cousin helper!

Daddy and Andy time...

One Month Old!

Andy is one month old - and the time has flown by. He heads to his check up this Friday, and we are curious to see how his weight, height, etc. measure up! Over the past month our lives have changed as we have been filled with joy with our little one. In addition, we have managed to function off very little sleep : ) Andy eats about every 2-3 hours, sometimes more frequently! I keep telling myself that each week he will sleep for longer periods, but I guess that is yet to come.

So far, Andy has been to Whidbey Island twice, and has been to Portland for a wedding. Otherwise, he spends his days sleeping, eating, and pooping : ) During the week he meets his cousins Maggie and Masin for walks - which has been great. Sometimes mommy needs an excuse to take a shower each day - and it's always refreshing to get outside.

Andy has a very strong temperament and has a powerful grip. At 4 weeks, he rolled over from his front to his back and he loves to bob his head up and down. He is starting to track with his eyes and smiled awake for the first time today (instead of his frequent gassy smiles)!!

We love our little guy and have a few nicknames...little T (little Pterodactyl), buddy, buster, and many names that we have been calling Henry. Poor Henry is a little confused, but we try to give Henry plenty of attention even though he is not the baby of the house anymore!

We fall deeper in love with Andy every day and look forward to what's to come!

Happy one month baby g!
