Crazy Mom of 3

After I was done taking pictures at Coe...finally...I decided to celebrate with the kids with cookies at Macrina.  It may be the last time I take all 3 and feed them sugar.  As we were eating our cookies, there was a group of students studying behind us.  I was listening to their conversation and it made me think about 2 things:  1)  I am old and college was a long time ago; and 2)  As soon as we left, I am sure they said - wow, what was she thinking bringing all three kids in and feeding them cookes.  The kids were pretty well behaved, but not compared to the "quiet coffee shop" environment.

Pre-K Tea Party

As I was taking pictures at Coe, I peeked into Andy's classroom during his Tea Party.  They were studying different countries and celebrated the end of the week by have and "English" Tea Party with crumpets.  They made their fancy hats and dressed up.  Pretty cute!

Typical Night at the Graebner's

You'll find us doing obstacle courses with the kids.  It's the most simple form of entertainment and ends up in a lot of laughter or tears from crashing.

Bunny Bday Party

Katie went to her friend Emma June's birthday party.  It was bunny themed...as in real bunnies.  Since I am allergic to bunnies, their smell is not pleasant to me.  Also, the thought of holding pooping and peeing bunnies in your lap at a party makes me a little grossed out...BUT I played it up for Kates.  She was like her mommy and really wanted nothing to do with them, but we still had fun.  Avery loved every second.

January Days

January flew by with everyone catching multiple colds and the flu and all of the time spent at Coe taking pictures.  Here are a few phone "randoms" from January.  The last one make me crack up.  Katie, Abi and I made a quick trip to the park.  Katie could have cared less that she was wearing a dress and flashing her underoos.  At least she was wearing underwear!

Jolly Jumper

We have been going through some of our baby stuff to sell as Abi grows out of it.  At 14 months, she has moved on from her infant car seat.  Not sure if anyone will want to buy it as it has gotten a LOT of use, especially from our little babies.  We were planning on selling the Jolly Jumper and Excersaucers - but we'd thought we would give Abi one more try.  They haven't gotten much use because Andy, Katie and Henry seem to have more fun with them than Abi - she hasn't been a fan.  BUT - she was having fun, especially when it's just her in the house.

Katie at Coe

I've been taking pictures of all of the students at Coe Elementary for their annual auction.  It has been quite a fete, but one little 3 year old has been pretty excited to go to the big kids school with me.  The girls have been great and luckily some parents have been able to help me by watching them at school while I take the photos.  Katie wanted to get her picture taken, just like the "big kids."

A week with Socks the Monkey

Andy's class has an animal that travels home with each student.  First, there was Larry the Lion, but he currently is lost.  Andy was the 2nd person to take home Socks the Monkey.  Andy was LOVING having his little buddy to take with him everywhere.  Unfortunately, I caught the 10 day flu and Kyle was in LA all week...so we didn't get to take Socks on any grande adventures.  But, our time at home with Socks was fun.

Katie Sing-along

Katie's class performed their sing-along the first Friday of the New Year.  A little funny watching them sing Christmas Carols - but they didn't care!  Katie was a little reserved - except for the Snowman song, "nibble, nibble, CRUNCH!"  Andy wanted to go late to school so he could watch Katie.
